The Water Safety Fair was held to promote safe boating for kids. Cutter Aquatics was one of the sponsors and, with the help of volunteers like Andy and Martha, taught the kids how to safely enter a kayak.

The first paddlers arrived at the tank to test out their paddling skills and just have fun.

Waiting for more kids to arrive, Steve and Andy rested in the shade, while Chris cooled off in the tank.

Some of the volunteers helped the kids apply on water, the safe boat entry that they were taught on dry land.

Others worked to keep the young paddlers moving around the tank in an orderly fashion.

At the end of the day, the volunteers demonstrated their kaykaing skills by performing a ballet.

A new volunteer was recruited who just wanted to do a little wading before the tank was emptied into the Wal-Mart parking lot.
