Your Privacy

Cutter Aquatics asks customers to supply various personal data when registering or paying for an activity, such as name, address, phone and e-mail address. We use this data only for the purpose of completing the registration request and to contact you about further activities.

We treat this customer information as private and confidential, and we do not disclose this information to other individuals or organizations.

Cutter Aquatics is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers’ personal data.

Your Participation

Cutter Aquatics strictly follows the Essential Eligibility Criteria of the ACA (American Canoe Association) for all our courses, program and events. Please click this link to view a pdf document of these EEC on the ACA website.

All participants in Cutter Aquatics courses, programs and events will wear US Coast Guard approved Lifejackets while kayaking, canoeing or SUPing. Lifejacket wear is strongly encouraged while swimming as well. This policy will be modeled by all our staff and strictly enforced. Cutter Aquatics will provide appropriately fitting approved lifejackets for participants. In programs held outside of the United States the lifejackets provided may not have a USCG approval seal but will meet all the same requirements as a USCG Type III or V wearable PFD.

Participant registration will be completed for all Cutter Aquatics events, programs and courses. All participants, volunteers, safety personnel, media representatives, event organizers, VIP’s and other involved individuals will sign a Cutter Aquatics waiver and release of liability. Alcohol may not be consumed prior to, or during, the on-water portions of any Cutter Aquatics events, programs or courses. We reserve the right to refuse on-the-water participation if, in our judgement, the participant appears under the influence of a judgement or motor skills impeding substance.

Payments

We will confirm an event or your place in a class only after receiving payment.

For your convenience, we accept payment via the methods listed below:

  • Pay with your credit card via PayPal
  • Pay with and electronic funds transfer using PayPal
  • Mail a check or money order to our contact address

Refunds

Event and activity fees are not prorated for limited participation. Our staff is paid to serve you for the designated time. Extreme weather or water conditions may cause activity to be postponed or rescheduled.

If activity is cancelled by Cutter Aquatics due to insufficient participation or other conditions a full refund will be made.

Individual refund requests for a course or activity schedules by Cutter Aquatics that is one-day or less will be considered up to seven days before the activity start date. A 10% processing fee will be assessed to individual refund requests.

For multi-day activities or events, lasting two days or longer, non-refundable deposits are required. Balance of activity fee is due a minimum of 45 days in advance of the start date. Specific payment due dates are included on trip information pages. Refund requests will only be considered up to thirty days before the activity start date. Refund processing fees will be assessed on a case by case basis and will take into consideration any financial obligations, including loss of proceeds, of Cutter Aquatics.
